Poncho Sweater- TJ Maxx (in store) // Jeans-Old Navy (old, similar) // Boots-Charlotte Russe (old, similar)

Just because the days are getting shorter and colder doesn’t mean date days or nights have to go away. I think when the weather cools down there are actually a lot of fun things to do for dates (I have a few ideas here). Unless I am hitting up a cool restaurant downtown or attending something a little more formal, I tend to keep date outfits a little more casual in the Fall. Comfort and being warm are more key to me for dates at a coffee shop, a casual dinner, a stroll through downtown or checking out a local haunting adventure. Ponchos are huge this season and can instantly add warmth and a little bit of chic to your #ootn. The prints, textures and different fabrics the ponchos come in make the options endless. You can find ponchos just about everywhere and can find them for just about every price point. Wal-Mart even has some stylish ponchos for under $15.00. When I saw this poncho sweater at TJ Maxx (for $13.00) I knew it would be perfect for cooler nights when I want to be both comfortable and warm but still look on trend. Pairing ponchos with pops of fall colored denim and riding boots makes the #ootd just a little more casual. Make sure you head and check out A Day in the Life of One Girl, and how Jessica dresses up for Fall date night.

Now for the reason you are all here!Β I have teamed up with Jessica from A Day in the Life of One Girl, LaZoom and Pin Head’s Graveyard to bring you the ultimate Halloween/Spooky/Horror date night package. You have the opportunity to win two tickets to Pin Head’s Graveyard, two tickets to LaZoom’s Haunted tour, two movie tickets from Regal Cinemas and some Halloween treats (valued at $110.00). 1. Spooky date nights are the best! This year’s costume isn’t that scary, though. We have a family theme going. My son is going to be the Joker, his wife, Harley Quinn, our 4 year old granddaughter will be Catwoman, and I’m making a tiny Poison Ivy costume for the 9 month old granddaughter. Our 17 year old son is going to be the Penguin, the in-laws are going to be Batman and Robin, I’ll be a fat, middle-aged Wonder Woman, and as always, my husband will stay at home and hand out candy in a t-shirt that says “This IS my costume”.

Hmm…. maybe a fat, middle-aged Wonder Woman IS scary.

  2. I’m going to be Nancy Thompson from A Nightmare on Elm Street. Thank you so much for offering such a fun and generous giveaway!

  3. I don’t know what I want to be for Halloween (per Rafflecopter), but I love your fall date look.

  4. I’m going to be a clown. The prizes are great …hope to win but if not hope whoever wins has a great time😊

  5. What a cute gift basket! I am in love with that skull tray. I almost got one, but hadn’t decided what to do with it.
